Jack Daniel

This past Friday was great in that I had an intellectual cipher with my homeboys. Not on some ole politics world news type shit, but rather on just life. One of my close friends (and one of the realist niggas on here) and I stopped at his brother's crib before a hip-hop event. Another one of our close friends came as well. In walking into dude's spot it was nice, but the thing that caught my eye most was his mural of Miles Davis on his wall in the common room. Not only was it a great piece of work, but his reason for it was phenomenal. When ask how he did it, why certain colors, etc., he simply said, "I just went wit what I felt." Dude sketched it free hand then started going to work. The conversion flooded into different things such as: being greatful for the little things, going with your heart, and simply being yourself to name a few. Granted all of use are in our early to mid 20's, but it was as if we've lived full lives, but still more life to live. I've done a lot of things in my day, some good and some bad, but I don't regret a thing. Life's lessons are what keep us going and having great folks in our lives to either share those times or helps realized things we may not have makes it that much better. I couldn't ask for a better life and all God's blessings that he has bestowed upon on me. I've been known to be a passionate person which tends to get me in trouble (i.e. speaking my mind), but at the end of the day I'm still me. You can like me or not, but regardless, you have to respect me. Can't wait to see what tomorrow has in store...
