Why is ignorance bliss? I feel it's simply a cop out of responsibility leading to what your grandmother would simply call a "shiftless negro." This is a touchy subject because ignorance, in my opinion, is subject to interpretation. Sometimes people really don't know something and other times you think to yourself, "Are you f*cking kidding me?!" In my journey through high school, undergraduate studies, and professional school, I have met my fair share of dumbass muthaf*ckers (What scares me most is that like recognizes like, so does that mean I'm ignorant?.........back to reality --> HELL NO!). I serving many leadership positions as well as just kicking back to observe my realm, I have witnessed events that are flat out "foolishness" (one of my favorite words by the way). I thought that show 'Are you smarter than a 5th grader' was ridiculous when it first came out. However, after several experiences of idiocracy, I have come to realize that some people are NOT smarter than a 5th grader. I've been subjected to events so bad I wonder if a person could even function on his/her own. Families are constantly putting their parents in elderly homes, I think it's about time we make homes for the "commonsensily challanged" (I know you like that mcflyism I just used). I don't know how many brain cells it takes to scratch your own a$$, but some folks can't even get past scratching their own head in bewilderment to even make it down south (if you didn't understand that last statement then I'm referring to you). It's time for folks to be accountable for their actions whether it's consequential or prior to something. Simple things as "reading" and "listening" are being taken for granted. There are people in the world who can't achieve this such as in third world countries and I do not blame them. I'm talking about those folks who got the good ole FREE education that works to your benefit if you allow it too. You can't expect something to be handed over to you. I'm a firm believer in that if the door is cracked, then open that b!tch. Now I'm not telling you to go and read every book in the world or enroll in your nearest community college, university, etc. I'm simply stating that use the basic God given talent that you have in making sound and rational decisions in your life.
